Comminuted fracture of the distal radial metadiaphysis

There is a comminuted fracture of the distal radial metadiaphysis with intra-articular extension into the radioulnar joint. The distal fragment is displaced 0.2 cm to the ulnar aspect and 0.5 cm posteriorly. A minimally displaced fracture of the ulnar styloid is best seen on the lateral view.

SLAC Wrist

There is widening of the scapholunate distance measuring 7 mm with malalignment of the carpal bones and dorsally tilted lunate.

Comminuted intra-articular fracture of distal radius

Comminuted intra-articular fracture of distal radius with dorsal angulation of the main distal fragments. Radiocarpal articulation is maintained. Distal radioulnar joint is intact. No evidence of fracture involving the distal ulna. There is mild diffuse soft tissue swelling.
